At Hydra Diving, our team of PADI instructors wholeheartedly believe that diving is a hobby capable of connecting passionate people with each other and the underwater world. It is our mission to ensure every diver receives comprehensive training in a safe and controlled environment, paced in a manner and taught with techniques that get the best out of each individual student.

Our courses cater for all levels and cover everything from basic skills, such as breathing techniques and equalisation, to advanced continued education programs.

When you sign up for a course with us you can join a community of like minded people. We dive in small groups so you will be able to make new friends and dive buddies.

We understand that people progress as divers at different speeds, therefore we offer pool practice sessions where we can help you address problems you may be having, such as maintaining neutral buoyancy or mask clearing issues.

You can also come and simply fun dive in the pool with us if you’re already a certified diver. This is particularly useful if you go a few months at a time without practice, or you have a new gear configuration you want to get used to before a holiday or dive trip.

UNIQUE PADI COURSES We are offering some of the more difficult to find certifications. Self-reliant diver and Full-face mask are perfect for the challenging, cold water conditions found in the UK. Our underwater meditation specialty course & continued practice sessions are completely unique and currently limited to a handful of PADI instructors worldwide. So why not challenge yourself and pursue your continued diving education by learning some advanced techniques.

We are based in Brighton & Hove, and cover all of East Sussex, West Sussex & Surrey. However, we will look to dive at varied places across the UK. Currently our open water dive location for 2024 will be Vobster Quay. This is a location that provides everything needed to deliver all our core and specialty courses.
